WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2019
With 2018 winding down, everyone is excited about summers 2019. The main reason behind this excitement is the upcoming fashion trends and all those tiny little light clothes with colorful prints, especially swimwear. Everyone is excited to hit the beach to get that perfectly sun-tanned body. The fashion world is busy coming up with trends for the best swimwear to rock at the beaches.
Many swimsuit designers believe that 2019 will come with various patterns, cuts, and bright colored themes, whether it’s athleisure, resort wear, or traditional swimsuits. Miami Swim Week has showcased all the upcoming trends of 2019 with a versatile display of cuts and prints, having something for everyone. The main idea behind every piece is to show a lot of skin, so better get your waxing appointments scheduled to be hairless!
Although one-piece swimsuits are in trend already, they’re believed to still be in trend in 2019 with some twists. Bright colors and prints are going to be in trend once again with interesting cuts. Plunging necklines and swimsuits with sleeves were all over the runway in Miami Swim Week.
High Waisted and High Cut Bottoms:
Either one piece or two-piece, high waisted and high cut bottoms are every designer’s best bet in their spring/summer collection 2019, with latest prints in bright or pastel colors. These cuts are flattering for all body types and heights. The level of comfort totally depends on personal choice.
The runway at Miami Swim Week had a strong ruffle-game this year. With much anticipated upcoming swimwear trends are flowing with cute, flirty ruffles either on the high waisted bottoms or over the shoulders towards deep V-neckline, accentuating every figure.
Crisscross patterns were not only seen on the bikini tops, but one-pieced swimsuits also had them above the bust. While two-piece swimwear had crisscross two ways; either above the bust or below the bust. It’s totally up to you to choose a design which accentuates your figure the most.
The fashion show witnessed different interesting cuts, especially in one-piece articles which made them look like barely a one piece. The cuts were mainly at the waist. Midriff cutouts and backless one-pieces with a variety of prints and patterns popped up on the runway.
Tied up pieces:
This trend is not only for swimsuits but for casual summer flowy dresses too. Summer 2019 would be a splash of tied up bottoms or tops, not only the side tied bikini bottoms but belts long enough to be wrapped around multiple times down the mid-section gave an edgy look.
