This is the season where life feels fresh once more! It's hard not to have that childlike sense of wonder rekindled at the first spotting of the cherry blossoms or the tulips poking their heads out of the damp earth. Especially after particularly harsh winters, it's a miracle to see nature bloom again - and an inspiration to think that no matter how cold or horrible life gets, there's always hope the sun will come back.
Yes, there's certainly something magical about spring. Maybe it's the return of bright colours, the fact that it's no longer dark at 5:00pm, or perhaps even the summer buzz that's already lingering in the air. Whatever it is, there's something about it that makes us want to jump into projects with renewed energy, dust the cobwebs off our running shoes, and really focus on trying to be better versions of who we are.
As the saying goes, "Spring is nature's way of saying 'let's party!'" So, without any further ado, here are 20 fabulous ways that you can celebrate spring!
1. Buy Yourself Fresh Flowers
The image of pastel-coloured tulips or bright yellow daffodils resting on your kitchen table, desk, or window-sill is sure to brighten anyone's day. There's something about the beauty of flowers that instantly lifts our spirits. Simply put, they make us happier and why would you not want to be happier?! The best part is, you don't need anyone to buy the flowers for you. Head out to your nearest florist and have fun picking your favourites bouquets.
2. Plant your own Garden
Buying flowers is great, but better yet, why not dig your fingernails in the dirt and plant your own garden? Caring for something is nuturing for the soul. If you don't have access to an outside garden, you can always buy plants that you can tend for and water daily. Remember to speak kindly to your plants - it helps them grow!
3. Switch up your Hairstyle
Tired of the same old thing? Us too. Spring is the perfect time to switch up your look. You don't have to do anything too drastic like dying your hair pink (though we think that's AWESOME if you do!) but the change can be as simple as a new cut or some extra colour. Maybe get bangs or try parting your hair down the middle. Even the smallest change can get your feeling like a brand new person, ready to take on the world!
4. Have a Picnic
Grab your besties, pack some yummy treats, and find a patch of green to lay down your blanket. Throw in a thermos of pink lemonade and some relaxing tunes and you've got yourself a first-rate picnic! Now there's nothing left to do but sit back and watch the clouds drift by. Keep a look out for butterflies!
5. Paint your Room
Want a change of scenary but don't want to buy a new house? No problem! Take a trip to your local hardware store and get yourself a fresh bucket of paint. Then get dressed in an old t-shirt and start transforming your living space! Maybe a pastel shade of pink for your living room, a strawberry-red front door, or a golden glow for your bathroom. Try out a new recipe or bake a cake. Draw a picture with side-walk chalk. Put together a photo album. Go to pottery class. It doesn't matter what - but keeping your hands busy and working on something just for YOU (not for your boss), will makes you feel all kinds of wonderful.

Spring is the perfect time to let go and start afresh. We're all guilty of collecting clutter and holding on to things we no longer need. Although purging your closests or home can be a daunting task, you won't regret it. By the end, you'll feel so much lighter and more free. I'm talking a night at the movies, a fancy dinner, a trip to the aquarium. Dress up for yourself or wear whatever you want without thinking about impressing anyone. Everyone deserves a little "me time" now and again.

Apples, oranges, bananas, grapefruit and more! Fruits are a great source of vitamins and an excellent way to prevent digestion problems. They're basically healthy candy! If you have a juicer, why not make some fresh juice? They also taste amazing mixed with some yoghurt or in your cereal!
16. Do that Thing You've Been Meaning to Do
You know what it is. Stop making excuses. Set aside some time, put on your big-girl boots, and just do it. Phew! What a relief you'll feel when you get to cross that off your to-do-list!

It doesn't matter if you're athletic or not. Getting your body moving is not only a great way to stay in shape, but it also gets those endorphins pumping so that you'll feel happier! You don't even need to join a club. Gather up some friends and take a trip to the park to toss a frisbree around or kick a ball.
18. Watch the Sunset
This should be on your list of things to do, no matter the season. There's something about watching the sunset that's peaceful and mesmerizing. For those brief moments, you forget all your worries and are transported to another reality. Life gets busy - take some time to stand still.
